Sat–Thurs 07:45–16:45 | Fri 07:45–15:45
1 in 4 weekends (on rota, allowance paid)

The Job

We’re looking for an Electrician to join the team at HMP Liverpool — a steady, long-term role on a single site.

You’ll be carrying out maintenance and repairs across the prison, keeping systems safe and running properly.

What You’ll Be Doing

Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
Fault finding and repairs
Like-for-like replacements and small works
Testing and inspections (BS7671)
Keeping systems safe and compliant
Working as part of a site team in a secure environment

What You’ll Need

Level 2 Electrical Installation
18th Edition (or 17th with willingness to upgrade)
Experience in maintenance / FM / building services
Able to work independently and use initiative
Basic IT skills

Nice to have:

Fire alarm / CCTV experience
