Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 7.15am – 5pm (NO FRIDAYS)

Amey is recruiting a qualified Electrician to join a small, friendly team in Oldbury-on-Severn carrying out EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports). This is a secure, site-based role offering a 4-day working week and a strong focus on quality over speed.
Working on-site, you will be responsible for inspection, testing and reporting on electrical installations. The environment is safety-led with no pressure to rush jobs, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Inspect and test electrical installations
- Complete accurate reporting and documentation
- Work safely in line with regulations and company procedures
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance
What you’ll bring
Required
- NVQ Level 3 Qualified Electrician
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience carrying out EICRs
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT skills
Desirable
- Time-served apprentice
- Experience using Napit FastTest software (training can be provided)
- Ability to work well within a small team
- Professional and reliable attitude
