About the role
Amey is recruiting a PAT Tester to join the team in Oldbury-on-Severn. This is a secure, site-based role offering a 4-day working week, a supportive team environment, and a strong focus on quality over speed.
Working on-site, you’ll ensure all electrical equipment is safe, compliant and tested to current standards. The environment is structured and safety-led, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) across site
- Ensure all equipment complies with current safety standards
- Maintain accurate testing records and documentation
- Work safely and in line with procedures
- Manage your own workload while supporting the team
What you’ll bring
Required
- City & Guilds 2377 (PAT Testing qualification)
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT skills
Desirable
- Previous PAT testing experience
- Experience using SimplyPATS software
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proactive approach
