We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic Trafford team at our Trafford Depot in Manchester, (M23 9LF). This role will be carried out onsite.
This position offers a competitive salary and overtime.
In this role, you will support the Trafford Account by overseeing projects from start to finish. The Project Manager ensures all initiatives align with the strategic goals of the Trafford Account, driving productivity and excellence. They coordinate departments, manage resources, and ensure tasks are on time and within budget. Their skills in risk management and problem-solving are crucial for smooth project execution. Their leadership enhances team performance, boosts client satisfaction, and ensures long-term success for the Trafford Depot.
What You’ll Do:
- Maximise efficiency to deliver projects within standards and targets, improve quality when possible, and ensure revenue aligns with budgets. Address any issues affecting delivery.
- Manage project programs, update regularly, and allocate resources to meet deadlines. Communicate progress to stakeholders and employees. Monitor financial performance and report monthly, comparing actuals to forecasts.
- Convert WIP promptly through invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Assurance regulations. Align team operations with One Amey principles and processes.
- Conduct weekly reviews with Activity Managers or project teams. Ensure contracts and subcontracts are in place before work starts and approve expenditures within authority limits.
- Develop, coach, and motivate the project team, and maintain client contacts to maximize future business opportunities and support new business development.
