We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Account Director to join our dynamic TRU (TransPennine Route Upgrade) team.

 

In this role, you will support the Managing Director of the TRU West Alliance in the Alliance role of Delivery Director, also the Rail Business Director by owning the P&L and implementing the business plan for the Alliance. 

 

You will manage growth and operations of the contract to ensure improvements in the delivery of service excellence across the account though maximising efficiency and effectiveness, actively sharing best practice across contracts and seeking opportunities for performance improvement.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with BDs, managers and AMs to develop and manage annual business objectives, plans and budgets for key accounts; actively seek opportunities for growth outside the existing budget
  • Ensure and improve the delivery of service excellence across the accounts though maximising efficiency and effectiveness, actively sharing best practice across contracts and seeking opportunities for profit improvement
  • Ensure the accounts are robust reference sites for future bids
  • Be accountable for health and safety culture which ensures safe processes, procedures and behaviours as well as continuous improvement through best practice activities
  • Work in a professional and proactive manner including developing the safety culture with the sub-contractors
  • Ensure all personnel are to report any accident or near misses to their supervisor or manager immediately to carry out investigations into the causes and remedial actions necessary.
