Title: Recruitment Manager - Governance
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract for a Recruitment Manager – Governance to join our HR Resourcing Team in Group Functions. This is a Remote role that may require occasional travel.

Reporting to the Resourcing Business Partner, the Recruitment Governance Manager will support in the creation and maintenance of the central governance of Amey's recruitment activities. This essential role involves the day-to-day management of Amey’s recruitment policies, processes, supplier management, systems, and events. You will act as facilitator with the three recruitment teams that sit within the business units ensuring cohesive and efficient recruitment activities across Amey.
What you will do:
- Working in partnership with the Business Unit recruitment teams to continuously develop and improve the recruitment practices.
- Provide Pan-Amey MI and reporting on recruitment activities, including but not limited to; number of hires, diversity stats, time to offer and ROI of partners and other investments against recruitment budget.
- Assisting in the creation and ongoing management of recruitment policies; including operational processes, recruitment SLAs, ED&I, and Social Value Recruitment.
- Working with input and content from the Business Units; the creation and ongoing management of internal and external Amey recruitment content, including but not limited to; new starter welcome packs, process guides and hiring manager guidance.
- Mapping and maintaining the end-to-end recruitment processes, working with the recruitment teams to ensure these are fit for purpose and that candidate and hiring manager journeys are streamlined and positive.
- Supplier Management including acting as a single point of contact for pan-amey suppliers, contract management, analyse usage and return on investment, PSL recruitment agency performance management.
- Supporting Ameys International expansion through governance activities. Eg engagement and onboarding of new suppliers and liaising with internal stakeholders on projects such as candidate attraction.
- Governance Activities, including management of central event calendar for job fairs, recruitment events, networking events
- Attend regular meetings with business units to ensure continuous improvement projects are being fed into and making progress
- Provide regular updates to the Resourcing Business Partner on the management of recruitment projects being worked on and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Administration of the invoicing process, working with the Resourcing Business Partner and People Director to ensure budget is fit for purpose and suppliers are paid on time.
- Ad-hoc project management and administration support of pan-Amey recruitment projects.
What we need:
- Qualified to Level 5 CIPD would be desirable, however not essential
- Project management qualification would be beneficial but not essential
- The ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
- First class organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of recruitment principles
- Fantastic IT skills including reporting, systems knowledge and Excel knowledge
- The ability to identify trends and analyse reports
- Experience within a recruitment background
- Proven track record of stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
- Presentation skills
