Join a stable, long‑term contract close to home, with no weekend working.

We are recruiting a Contractor Escort to join the Facilities Management team at HMP Liverpool on a permanent basis.

This role supports the safe and secure running of the prison by escorting and supervising contractors working on site.

Hours

39 hours per week
Monday to Friday only
Rota between 07:45 – 16:45
15:45 finish every Friday
No weekends

The role

Escort contractors around the prison
Carry out safety and security checks
Support site inductions
Monitor works being completed on site
Report and challenge safety or security concerns
Provide general operational support when required

Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Security‑ and safety‑aware
Flexible and reliable approach
Professional attitude
Full UK driving licence

You don’t need to meet every requirement – training and support can be provided.

Clearance

Prison Security Clearance required
Standard DBS check required
Full support provided through the process
