Title: Maintenance Electrician / Site Electrician (Static Site - No Travel)
- Location: HMYOI Swinfen Hall, Lichfield (WS14 9QT)
- Salary: between £30,866 – £36,135 dependant one experience basic + 15% weekend allowance (1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis)
- Hours: 39 per week | Mon–Fri, between 8am–5pm | Early Friday finish
- Contract: Permanent | Long‑term, secure MoJ contract

You’ll join Amey’s Ministry of Justice contract, helping keep a safe, compliant and well‑run environment for staff and residents. This is a structured, well‑managed environment — you’ll work as part of a stable on-site team, with full support and clear procedures in place from long-standing leadership.
What you’ll be doing
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance on site
- Fault finding and repairs across lighting, power and fixed wiring
- Minor works and like‑for‑like replacements, tested and certified to BS7671
- Recording work on simple systems (basic IT only)
- Working safely and compliantly in a controlled environment
What we’re looking for
- Typical Level 2 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (or 17th with upskilling provided)
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- Experience in maintenance, FM, commercial or industrial environments
- Desirable (not essential): Fire alarm or CCTV knowledge and experience in secure or regulated sites
