We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Business Support Coordinator to join our Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) contract based at Sizewell A.

NRS (Nuclear Restoration Services) sites are highly regulated nuclear facilities across the UK, supporting the safe decommissioning and long-term management of the nation's former nuclear power stations and associated assets. Amey provides a range of facilities management, maintenance and project delivery services that help ensure these sites remain safe, compliant and operational.

Join Our Team

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and supportive facilities management team delivering essential services across key nuclear decommissioning sites. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of maintenance and operational activities, helping to keep critical infrastructure compliant, safe and efficient.

What makes this role particularly attractive is the work-life balance on offer. You'll work a full-time 37.5-hour week across four days only, giving you every Friday off. Alongside this, you'll gain exposure to a fast-paced facilities management environment supporting the Nuclear Restoration Services contract, where no two days are the same.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate maintenance activities through the MRI CAFM system, ensuring jobs are tracked from request to completion.
  • Manage work orders, task orders and subcontractor instructions to support service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation, asset information and operational reports.
  • Support waste service coordination and wider facilities management activities across the site.
  • Produce reports, update databases and assist with forecasting and financial administration tasks.
  • Provide general administrative and reception support while acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Bring

Essential
  • Previous office administration experience.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.

Desirable

  • Experience using CAFM systems such as MRI.
  • Experience within a facilities management environment.
  • Experience in a construction, manufacturing or commercial business environment.
  • Experience supporting operational or maintenance teams.
