Title: HSEQ Coordinator
We have a fantastic opportunity for an HSEQ Coordinator to join our team. This role is hybrid, supporting operational contracts and HSEQ teams across the business, with flexibility on location depending on the account.

We’re now looking for an HSEQ Coordinator to provide essential administrative and technical support to the HSEQ function, helping drive continuous improvement across Health & Safety, Quality, Assurance, and Environmental performance.
You will play a key role in supporting systems, reporting, and coordination activities, working closely with operational teams and HSEQ professionals to ensure compliance, accuracy, and effective performance monitoring.
The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
What you’ll do:
HSEQ Coordination & Support – Providing administrative and coordination support to the HSEQ team to enable effective delivery across contracts
Systems Management – Managing and maintaining systems such as Airsweb, Sypol, Workrite and KPI scorecards, ensuring data accuracy and usability
Reporting & Data – Collating information, producing reports and supporting performance tracking through KPIs and dashboards
Documentation & Communication – Supporting the creation of management system documents, presentations and briefings using technical input from colleagues
Operational Support – Assisting operational teams with system use, processes and compliance requirements
Assurance & Auditing – Participating in assurance activities to gain insight into business operations and support continuous improvement
Continuous Improvement – Identifying opportunities to improve processes, data accuracy and efficiency across HSEQ activities
Safety & Culture – Promoting Amey’s ‘Safety First, Always’ approach and embedding behaviours aligned to the Zero Code framework

What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in an administrative or coordination role within HSEQ or a similar function
- Working knowledge (or willingness to learn) systems such as Airsweb, Sypol, Workrite or similar platforms
- Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Good understanding or interest in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn
Desirable:
- NEBOSH Certificate (or working towards)
- Experience with Power BI / Power Apps
- Exposure to assurance, audit or compliance environments
