Title: Assurance Manager
Amey is expanding its transport infrastructure capability in Ireland and is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to help underpin safe, compliant and high‑quality delivery across a growing portfolio of rail and infrastructure projects.

In your new role as Assurance Manager, you will develop and maintain Amey’s Integrated Management System (IMS) for the Republic of Ireland, providing independent assurance that our systems, processes and ways of working meet statutory requirements, international standards and client governance expectations.
You will help ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, supporting continuous improvement and embedding learning across projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) for Transport Infrastructure in the Republic of Ireland.
- Provide independent assurance that systems, processes and ways of working meet ISO standards, Irish legislation and contractual requirements across rail and transport projects.
- Plan and deliver audits, inspections and site‑based surveillance, identifying risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse assurance data, trends and non‑conformances, translating findings into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Support incident investigations, assurance reviews and root cause analysis, ensuring learning is embedded and actions are delivered.
- Oversee assurance actions and systems (including EcoOnline), challenging overdue or ineffective close‑out.
- Support bids, mobilisations, demobilisations and supplier assurance, embedding governance and compliance from the outset
- Build strong, professional relationships across project teams, leadership, functions and the supply chain, promoting a Safety First, Always assurance culture.
