Title: S&T Supervisor
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent S&T Installations Supervisor to join our dynamic E&S team at Bedford or Doncaster. 37.5 hrs per week, on-site, with a requirement to work some weekends and nights.
In this role, you will supervise and deliver allocated Signalling & Telecommunications (S&T) contract works safely and efficiently, ensuring all activities comply with contract specifications, approved programmes, target costs, relevant legislation, and Amey procedures
This role offers you a great opportunity to work with one of NR main contractors on Signalling frameworks across the Eastern region.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure Signal installation works are carried out to the correct standards and handed over to the TIC with minimal defects / re-work.
- Test works to SMTH.
- Participate in risk assessments and put in place adequate control measures when required.
- Provide information to planning team to ensure accurate site paperwork can be produced.
- Participate in reviewing/preparation of resource schedules, methodology and preparation of Work Package Plans and Task Briefings.
- Keeping the Project Manager / Construction Manager updated on production progress.
- Ensure effective leadership & supervision of workforce including subcontractors and tier 2 labour to achieve high levels of safety, performance, attendance and behavioural standards.
- Undertake / attend Safety Briefings, Tool Box Talks, WPP, Pre Work / COSS and Task Briefings
- Liaise with the site team as necessary to ensure the efficient running of the site.
- Attendance at planning / progress meetings as required.

What You’ll Bring:
- S&T Rail installations industry experience
- IRSE licensed in installation activities - desirable
- Proven experience supervising Signalling installation activities
- PTS
- Health & Safety Training (IOSH/CITB SSSTS)
- SMTH
- Driving licence
