Electrician - HMP Lindholme, Doncaster DN7 6EE

£30,866 – £36,135 + 15% weekend allowance

We’re recruiting an on‑site Electrician to join the facilities team at HMP Lindholme, a large Category D resettlement prison near Hatfield Woodhouse.

This is steady, long‑term work on one secure site — no travelling, no chasing jobs.

The job

• Planned & reactive electrical maintenance
• Fault‑finding, minor works and like‑for‑like replacements
• Testing & inspections to BS7671
• Working as part of an experienced on‑site FM team

Hours

• 39 hours per week
• Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–15:30
• 1 in 3 weekends on a rota (paid at +15%)

What you’ll need

• Level 2 Electrical Installation (C&G 2367/2357 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition (17th considered with upskilling)
• Maintenance experience and good H&S awareness

Prison security clearance and Standard DBS required – fully supported by Amey.
