Title: Pre-works Coordinator
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Pre-works Coordinator to join our Area 12 contract at our Tingley Motorway Maintenance Depot (M62, Jct 28) (WF31SW). This role is office-based with hybrid working after training.
As part of our dedicated team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that essential pre-works coordination is delivered efficiently and to the highest standard. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, supporting a seamless handover from initial work order through to on-site execution. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes and maintaining our reputation for excellence.
The standard hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday.
What You’ll Do:
- Receive and process works orders, and work with Pre Site Technicians to prepare sites for programming
- Review works orders for compliance with SLA/Contract compliance
- Liaison with works order generator in case of queries
- Co-ordinate labour, plant, materials, supply chain, permits, risk assessments, safety compliance, traffic management, with others where appropriate
- Complete resource programme for sign-off by Operations Controller, to ensure that work can be released for delivery on site
- Allocation of works orders for Pre Site Inspection, Programming or return to client for further information
- Logging of all works as required
- Review works orders for plant, materials and vehicle requirements
- Liaison with works order originators over incomplete orders
- Deliver and continuously improve service levels
- Maximise the productivity of the resources through reduction in wasted time, materials and operational costs
