At Amey Consulting Sheffield, our team is at the forefront of delivering innovative civil engineering solutions as part of our Civil Engineering Design Alignment (CEDA) projects. We are a dynamic group of engineers, designers, and project managers committed to transforming the infrastructure landscape across the UK. Our team works on a diverse portfolio of projects, including highways, bridges, rail, and large-scale public infrastructure developments.

The Placement Programme

 

 Our one year placements are designed for students currently pursuing a degree and seeking practical work experience. During your placement:

  • You will assist in real-world projects from day one
  • Gain hands-on experience supporting design alignment, project coordination, and delivering efficient, sustainable infrastructure solutions.
  • Benefit from mentorship by industry experts, learning from some of the best minds in the field.

 

You’ll have a dedicated ‘buddy’ and mentor to guide you, helping you settle into your role and develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

What we need from you

 

Minimum requirements:

  • Able to start the placement on 1st September 2025.
  • Commitment to complete the placement for the duration.
  • Currently studying towards a degree in a related subject.
