Title:  Solutions Lead - Processes & Integration

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Solutions Manager (process and optimisation) in our Bidding team. This is a remote working role primarily with regular travel to our offices in Birmingham and London

The standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week.

You will be part of a team who provide specialist solutions architecture and co-ordinate the design and articulation of compelling, innovative, and effective solutions aligned to our customers' requirements.

What you will do:

Area of Responsibility

  • Supports development of overall operational solution in support of the Bid Lead, co-ordinating contribution from workstream owners and sourcing SME support where required from the wider business. Typically, these will involve complex and/or integrated services
  • Typically manages one large project or a small number of simultaneous projects – impacting on 100-1000 people.

 

Organisation

  • Working as part of the Growth team, responsible for securing new business growth alongside Bid Leads, Estimators, Commercial Managers, Procurement Managers SMEs and Bid Writers.

 

Financial Responsibility

  • Support development of compliant and competitive costed proposals, working closely with the Estimator and wider Bid Team.

 

Staff

  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate resources are available to support the development of the operational solution. This includes liaison and securing support from technical specialists within the organisation, supply chain partners and external advisors where necessary.

  

What you will bring:

  • Ability to understand customer requirements including analysis of large quantities of data, e.g. asset data, service volumetrics, cost data, TUPE information etc.
  • Excellent communication skills – must be able to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders and customers
  • Change management experience
  • Technical leadership and a strong team player
  • Excellent problem-solving capability
  • Ability to facilitate groups
  • Ability to manage resources effectively to meet KPI’s and
  • Able to take and be accountable for decisions within the contract, reflecting the ‘One Amey’ mindset.
  • Excellent Customer and Stakeholder relationship management
  • Highly proficient in IT and data analysis
  • Proven experience in business improvement and process improvement roles across support services in a range of sectors
  • Track record of continuous improvement and innovation projects
  • Experience of working within bidding teams and development of operational solutions
  • Solid understanding of the industry, market and services Amey offer
  • Lean practitioner (six sigma green belt or equivalent is desirable)
