Title: Privacy Operations Analyst
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Privacy Operations Analyst remote or hybrid although preferably North UK.
HOURS OF WORK – 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and looking to develop your career in privacy and data protection? We’re seeking a Privacy Operations Analyst to help deliver our privacy programme across both corporate and restricted environments. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with governance, compliance, or operational support experience who wants to build privacy expertise in a collaborative, supportive team.
What you will do:
Operational Delivery
- Conduct data and document searches to support DSAR fulfilment and maintain accurate case records.
- Maintain the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA) and other privacy registers.
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling for operational and governance meetings and committees.
- Support the documentation and tracking of privacy incidents, including initial triage and escalation.
- Help maintain the data breach register and assist with regulatory reporting preparation.
Project & Vendor Support
- Assist with the preparation and documentation of DPIAs and vendor privacy assessments.
- Maintain logs and templates used in privacy reviews and project engagements.
- Track and update privacy-related actions and remediation items.
Advice & Awareness
- Provide practical support to business and IT teams on day-to-day privacy queries, referring complex matters to the Senior Data Protection Analyst.
- Contribute to the development and distribution of privacy awareness materials and training content.
Cross-Functional Engagement
- Work with Legal, HR, IT, and business units to support the implementation of privacy controls.
- Ensure privacy practices are embedded into operational processes across both corporate and restricted environments.
What you will bring:
- Experience working in a structured governance, compliance, or operational support function.
- Exposure to privacy, data protection, or DSAR handling is beneficial but not essential.
Skills
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive data and maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams and handling varied privacy queries.
Qualifications
- Privacy certification (e.g. CIPP/E, BCS) is a plus or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience in a relevant field such as administration, compliance, or information governance is acceptable.
