We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Systems, Governance & Assurance Lead to join our Transport Infrastructure HSEQ Team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing governance frameworks - establishing clear structures, policies, procedures to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Assurance activities – ensuring robust arrangements are implemented in areas such as reviews, audits, and other assurance activities to verify systems and processes are working effectively and meeting required standards.
  • Risk management – working with others to identify, assess, and mitigating potential risks including compliance, operational, and strategic risks.
  • Continuous improvement - identifying opportunities to enhance governance, risk management, and assurance processes based on performance data and industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder engagement - collaborating with various stakeholders to promote a culture of risk awareness, compliance and embracing organisation changes enabling smooth adoption.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Extensive industry experience in developing and working with digital systems and initiatives aligned to Management Systems, Governance & Assurance frameworks.
  • Proven experience working in a large diverse multi discipline and multi-site organisation with excellent knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Excellent relationship/stakeholder management skills, including being comfortable challenging others with pragmatism, energy, enthusiasm, and resilience.
  • A proven self-starter and disciplined with proactive planning and organisational skills and the agility to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Customer centric and excellent end user goal experience mindset.
