Title:  Finance Graduate

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance/Maths Graduate to join Amey in our Group Finance Team.

Starting Salary: £28,500 per annum

Location: Remote or Hybrid, will ideally be local to Birmingham, Leyland or Liverpool.

Start Date: July 2026

As part of our Graduate Development Programme, you’ll get involved in a wide range of pension related activities, most notably providing input into commercial bidding processes, oversight of company-wide benefit arrangements and management of multi-million-pound transactions. You’ll also provide support for our automatic enrolment process, deal with member queries and assist with the processing of contribution information.

As a remote/hybrid worker based from home or either our Birmingham, Leyland or Liverpool offices, our role provides a unique opportunity to be part of a specialist in-house consultancy. Working as part of the Strategic Pensions Team, this role provides analytical, technical, and administrative support developing your expertise and understanding of commercial matters, pension scheme management and financial risk control across our organisation. 

We don’t expect you to bring prior pensions, commercial or finance experience with you when you join us. We’ll develop your skills and provide the opportunities for you to become an expert in your field.  However, we do want you to share our passion and demonstrate your desire to develop yourself within this exciting area.

We want to hear from you if you have any of the following: 

• A minimum relevant 2.2 degree in Maths, Accounting and Finance, or a related technical or quantitative subject.
• Strong ‘A’ Level Mathematics and GCSE English
• An interest in Apprenticeship and Skill Development: We seek candidates who are dedicated to their personal growth and professional advancement. As part of this role, you may participate in an apprenticeship program, and/or pursue professional examinations, enhancing your skills beyond your degree.
