You’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of sectors, learning how to connect engineering insight with business strategy to deliver measurable value. You will work alongside the team to:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and gather technical and functional requirements for asset management processes and systems.
- Support and facilitate workshops to map end-to-end journeys and processes, capturing detailed requirements, dependencies and improvement opportunities.

- Use tools like Miro and Excel to visually map processes, user journeys and requirements in a way that supports collaboration and clarity.
- Analyse current processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies and areas for optimisation.
- Work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure requirements are used effectively in gap analysis, solution design and decision-making.
- Develop skills in stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and data interpretation to support project delivery.
- Learn how to apply industry standards such as ISO 55001 to align asset management practices with business strategy and risk governance.
