Highways Administrator

Your New Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Highways Administrator to join our Group Finance team, supporting the Highways Finance business unit in Kent. This is a permanent, Full-time role based in our Aylesford (ME20 7TZ)

The Highways Administrator plays an important part role in the team.  You will be tasked to liaise suppliers, placing orders for materials as well as general admin tasks.

The standard hours of work are Monday – Friday 07:30am – 4pm.

You will be responsible for:

• Ringing suppliers and placing purchase orders for materials
• Raising purchase orders on SAP
• Booking materials in and out of stock 
• Putting waste tickets on waste accountant
• Ordering plant, off hiring plant and doing breakdowns on 360 plant system
• Filling and general admin tasks
• Winter maintenance support - ringing roadman when there is a gritting request
• Booking in salt deliveries and booking out the salt issues

We want to hear from you if you have:

• Experienced administrator
• Experience in using SAP would be highly desirable
• Strong IT skills with experience in using Microsoft applications
• Team player with the ability to work alone
• Excellent communication skills
