Your New Role

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Communications Executive to join our Communications team supporting our Internal Comms function in London. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers hybrid working.   

The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of effective internal communications activity across Amey. Working with the internal comms team and wider marcomms community, you will help to embed the brand and associated values. On top of this, you will support the communications roll out of the new Employee Value Proposition.

 

The standard hours of work are based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of communications strategies and plans
  • Supporting management of internal communications channels including Hub magazine, intranet content, internal social media channel, corporate emails for major announcements and CEO communications activity
  • Supporting internal stakeholders to achieve their communications objectives (Health & safety team, people team, ESG team and affinity networks)
  • Supporting management of annual senior leadership conference and annual employee Shining Stars award event
  • Supporting the Group marketing team to help review case studies in line with our corporate guidelines
  • Working with designers and multi-media producer to create campaign content (for print, digital, video, social media use)

 

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • A relevant degree or communications related qualification preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and impactful messages for a diverse audience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to time and to budget
  • Communications knowledge/awareness
  • Creative problem solving and prepared to think 'outside of the box'
  • Good analytical skills
  • Great people and relationship building skills
  • Communications experience in a large corporate organisation
  • Experience of writing for a variety of audiences
  • Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Competent MS 365 user
  • Confident with creating presentations
