Your New Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Communications Manager to join our Marketing Team supporting our Group Business Unit. This role will be based in our Furnival Street office and will offer Hybrid working.
The purpose of the role is to help to develop and deliver the internal communications strategy for this fast-paced organisation. In collaboration with the communications team and wider stakeholders create engaging communications campaigns to embed the new Employee Value proposition, help business growth and support change communications for key projects.
The standard hours of work are based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

You will be responsible for:
- Working collaboratively with the business to deliver appropriate Group level internal communications campaigns
- Supporting the content development and management of regular organisation wide communications, including Weekly newsletters, Quarterly live CEO broadcast updates and Bi-annual employee Hub magazine
- Working with the communications team and people team to embed the Employee Value Proposition with compelling campaigns and content
- Working with Health & Safety teams to create communications and campaigns to promote our Safety First culture
- Supporting the management of the annual senior leadership conference, including contributing to content ideas, managing speakers and delegates
- Promotion of the internal recognition programme and managing the annual employee award event
- Providing communications support and develop communications for key change programmes across the organisation, including updates to systems and processes as well as ways of working
- Working closely with our marketing communications and public affairs colleagues to ensure internal and external communications are aligned.
- Preparing, writing and editing comms materials e.g.: presentations, case studies, newsletters, press releases, social posts and blogs, videos etc to support our brand positioning and growth strategies
- Work with designers and multi-media producer to create campaign content (for print, digital, video, social media use)
We want to hear from you if you have:
- A qualification in Communications or experience
- A strong creative mind – ability to produce content that is different and in engaging formats
- Customer-centric mindset
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and impactful messages for a diverse audience, using a range of digital and conventional channels
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects to time and to budget
- In depth communications experience
- Experience of managing agencies and budgets
- Experience of working within a large matrix organisation
- Clear understanding of how to maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all marketing communications materials, following brand guidelines and tone of voice (TOV) documents to build brand recognition and trust.
