Your New Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Risk & Cash Allocations Supervisor to join our Group Shared Services Transactional Services Team on a 12-month Fixed Term contract. This role will be based in the Matchworks, Liverpool but will offer hybrid working.

 

With 4 direct reports, the purpose of the role is to Supervise the Credit Support and Cash Allocation Team to ensure Credit Risk, Client Master Data and Cash allocation tasks are undertaken. This role also covers a wide range of Reporting for the Credit & Collections Team, providing key data to the Credit Manager.

 

The standard hours of work are based on 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supervising the Credit Support and Cash Allocation Teams delivering performance against KPIs
  • Managing the analysis of credit risk across the client base, ensuring each client has a credit score and credit limit with a relevant risk category assigned
  • Managing accounts that need to be blocked and unblocked accordingly
  • Ensuring that payment reconciliations, direct debits and other credit support daily tasks are completed
  • The creation of the monthly aged debt and departmental KPI packs and dashboards
  • Producing key data and reports to support the Credit Manager and GSS Scorecard
  • Providing status of Amey CCJs to Accounts Payable and Treasury stakeholders
  • Provide Bank Receipt Analysis to the Credit Manager on a monthly basis
  • Improving Cash Allocation Automation and our first time match rate
  • Working with the Business Units to ensure accurate reconciliations and clear all possible unallocated cash
  • Leading monthly finance service & scorecard reviews
  • Assisting with annual SAP UAT upgrades
  • Assisting Credit Manager in establishing vision and direction of the team

  • CICM qualification is essential
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience of people management in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • Innovative and keen to improve and challenge existing processes
  • Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • The ability to prioritise and work toward deadlines
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
  • Strong finance, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience in a Credit Risk Team in a large, multi-site and diverse organisation would be highly desirable
  • Experience with reporting – SAP, PowerBi and Excel
