Your New Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Administrator to join our Staffordshire County Council Account based from our Lichfield Depot (WS13 6EU)

 

The salary will be dependant on your experience.

 

Amey have been working with Staffordshire County Council since 2014 to manage and maintain the county's highways infrastructure. We take pride in delivering exceptional infrastructure services across 6,000KM of Staffordshire, ensuring roads, cycle routes, bridges, tunnels, lighting, drainage, traffic signals, trees, and land are well-maintained to enhance the lives of local residents and communities. 

An Administrator plays an important part in supporting the business functions with any financial or administration tasks.

 

The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Updating and maintaining records within various management information systems, taking minutes during meetings, and inputting and maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and systems; producing and collating reports.
  • Managing the depot's financial reporting, including processing timesheets, raising purchase orders, arranging payment of invoices, and filing correspondence as required while maintaining an orderly office system.
  • Organising and scheduling training courses, conducting health and safety checks to ensure depot compliance (e.g., checking fire alarms), and attending meetings at other locations when required.
  • Performing general administrative duties as needed

 

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous experience in an administration role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driving licence
  • Proficient in MS Packages
