We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Graduate to join our Complex Facilities Divisional Finance Team.

Starting Salary: £28,500 per annum

Location: Hybrid role with 3 days in office required, candidates local to Chorley, Lancashire

Start Date: September 2025

This role will sit within our Complex Facilities Finance team. We play a critical role in supporting the financial health and strategic direction of the Complex Facilities portfolio of contracts. We partner closely with the operational teams to provide robust financial analysis, reporting, and insight, ensuring the delivery of accurate budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Cash-flow reporting and presentation to the divisional exec
  • Ensuring accurate and timely cost allocation with relevant profit centres
  • Preparation of accruals, prepayments, and month end journals
  • Assisting with the preparation of year end audit requirements
  • Financial Analysis
  • Divisional Overhead Forecasting & Budgeting

                                                                                                     

 

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Minimum 2:1 in a numerical degree discipline such as Accounting & Finance, Business, Economics and Mathematics etc
  • Be able to start with Amey in September 2025.
  • A positive attitude to continuing your professional development, demonstrating an aspiration, with our support, to join a related professional body and gain further qualifications in the field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working ethos, along with advanced written, communication, excel and presentation skills
