Starting Salary: £28,500 per annum

Amey’s Complex Facilities business plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive financial and operational services across the Defence sector. With a focus on total facilities and estate management, we ensure the seamless operation of essential defence infrastructure. From managing budgets and forecasts to handling asset and project management, we are committed to delivering high-value services that align with the strategic needs of our clients, allowing them to focus on critical defence operations while we provide expert financial and facilities support.                                                                      

 

Our Defence team at Amey consists of finance and operational professionals who work together to ensure optimal financial performance and accountability within the complex facilities management sector. As a team, we combine a strong understanding of financial principles with operational expertise, delivering both day-to-day financial oversight and strategic project management. By fostering collaboration, we drive efficiencies and ensure that our clients receive exceptional service, with an emphasis on transparency and value creation in every project we undertake.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Operations to develop and implement financial strategies and framework agreements that align with the overall supply chain and business objectives.
  • Participate in monthly contract and tender meetings, providing financial insights that support decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Support the development and execution of financial strategy for the Complex Facilities business, focusing on supplier relationships and financial optimisation in alignment with customer needs and strategic goals.
  • Contribute to and deliver allocated aspects of the annual financial business plan, driving cost and value benefits through effective financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Interpret financial data to develop actionable insights and collaborate with various departments to enhance financial performance and support business growth through sound financial practices.

 

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Minimum 2:1 Accounting/Finance Degree.
  • A driving licence would be desirable.
  • Available to join the programme in September 2025
  • Excellent communication skills – Written and oral
  • High level of motivation and initiative; self-starter
