HSEQ Business Partner – Health & Safety

UK-based | International travel | Senior advisory role

Are you a chartered Health & Safety leader who thrives on influence, complexity and international growth? We’re looking for an HSEQ Business Partner (Health & Safety) to act as a trusted SME across our Advisory business, supporting major UK sectors and expanding operations overseas.

The role

You’ll be the Health & Safety conscience of the business—working alongside senior leaders to embed a safety-first culture, strengthen governance, and enable safe, sustainable growth across the UK and international markets. From transport and infrastructure to energy, defence and water, you’ll provide expert, value‑adding advice where it matters most.

You’ll play a key role in shaping strategy, strengthening our Integrated Management System, leading complex investigations, supporting bids and mobilisations, and driving continual improvement across diverse operating environments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Influencing senior leaders to deliver robust HSEQ governance and performance
  • Acting as a Health & Safety SME for the Advisory business and international growth markets
  • Leading and assuring incident investigations and preventative actions
  • Developing and embedding H&S strategy aligned to Group objectives
  • Supporting bids, mobilisations and overseas expansion with expert risk insight
  • Delivering and shaping H&S training, assurance and improvement programmes
  • Championing a fair, learning-led safety culture across the business

What we’re looking for

  • Strong knowledge of UK and international H&S legislation
  • Chartered IOSH member with a recognised H&S diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience implementing management systems (ISO 45001, 9001, 14001), including overseas
  • Confident influencer who can challenge, advise and partner at senior level
  • Proven investigator with strong root cause analysis skills
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic and people-focused

Why join us?

  • High-impact role with real influence at senior level
  • Exposure to major UK infrastructure projects and international growth markets
  • Opportunity to shape culture, strategy and systems—not just assure compliance
  • Flexible Hybrid working
  • Opportunity for development
  • Work with passionate professionals who put safety first, always
