As part of this team, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients and internal specialists, providing business advisory services to improve operational efficiency and meet long-term goals. Our consultancy services cover a wide range of sectors, from infrastructure and transport to energy and sustainability.

In our Graduate role, you’ll experience four diverse rotations, providing you with valuable insights and exposure across various business areas and teams. These rotations may include Analytics, Bidding, Commercial, HSEQ, Operational HR, and Project Management, among others.

As a Graduate, you will work alongside the teams to:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the development of business proposals and reports.
  • Collaborate on projects to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
  • Support the team in client engagement and stakeholder management.

The Graduate Programme

Our Graduate Programme is designed in alignment with our Leadership Behavioural Framework, focusing on five core competencies essential for developing future-focused, high-performing consultants, engineers, and leaders. Over a three-year period, you will receive both technical and personal development tailored to your role, ensuring you acquire the essential consultancy skills for success. In your second year, we will support your learning by enrolling you in a Level 7 qualification in Senior Leadership. You will gain hands-on experience and collaborate with industry experts who value your unique perspectives. Additionally, you will be paired with a ‘buddy’ and a mentor to help you settle into your role and develop the necessary skills and knowledge.

Where Could This lead?

Our Graduate Programme is designed to be rewarding, nurturing your professional development and personal growth. As Sean Griffin, a current Graduate, shares: “Over the past year, it has been both a challenging and rewarding journey. I look forward to my future with Amey as my skills and knowledge develop.”

Successfully completing the programme will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to advance into an operational or business management role within Amey Consulting.
